I am up here in Seattle now but still see allot of muscle cars on the road now and many having been passed on or purchased by a new generation of Gen Xer's ...I'd say the parking lot at SIR in Kent was a reminder there are still plenty of guys in old and new cars. Most of them all gas powered...don't think I saw one Tesla. hahaMD

Well put!!!I attended a gathering of folks to meet Dave Hill just before he retired. (Chief Performance Engineer for Caddy & Vettes) His last accomplishment: design of C5.He spent time telling us how much he worked thru the years to keep the Vette alive. He needs help. Buy more. Promote the brand more....etc. .etc.
Like YOU JUST SAID:get the kids there for their first time! They'll be Hooked!
I told Dave H:"Those kids in their Rice Burners: I show them my tail lights....as often as possible!!"

You can’t see much at these races unless you walk back in the paddok area talking to the racers working in their vintage racers hearing their stories. Everyone with ear to ear grins…big A Production high compression big blocks blowing out ear drums, smell of race gas. Seeing kids at the race track for their first time, the look on their faces… nothing better then being around like minded friends, family and racers who love to go fast…lots of smiles all around.
Good Times!
