[TPR] Doc Engles in the News

Chuck “Doc” Engles, a long time TPR friend and supporter was in Car & Driver magazine (sept/oct issue) that I just received yesterday. 

Doc, a serious Motörhead has several interesting articles on aerodynamics  and his own experiences building and rebuilding the engines on his two Panteras in POCA. 

The story in C&D is about McPherson College Automotive Restoration Summer Institute where students can study everything from advanced auto painting to sheetmetal, and engine building. 

Class is held at the college in Kansas and costs $1,075 plus $475 for dorm and food per class in a summer session . The classes are varied but pick up the magazine and read all about it. 

Of the many Motörhead’s attending was Doc Engles. He is still ugly as hell (haha) but he is a brain surgeon and has two Pantera’s so yea high praise. 

Kidding aside, very proud  of you Doc. Please share with us much more about what you learned and how the class went.
