Very cool. Selection of vehicle does not include C8. But if material is sized large enough, maybe cut to fit.
If material is softer than aluminum fins, then any wear will be on screen, wear it belongs.
Zip ties thru radiator: toughest part is just getting your hands into both sides.
In most cases the a/C evaporator is in front of radiator. So you have to get in there.
No matter what we build, no matter the science, no matter the actions, there is always a reaction.

Personally, I think this stuff would be even better:
https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Nomex-Honeycomb-Radiator-Guard-Protector-Screen-Mesh-19-x-26,3545.html
It would need to be painted (black in Dawg's case) and then mounted typically with some through-radiator zip-ties, which some folks don't like. Other materials could also be used.
Cool stuff.

Good IDEA!!! We had screens in sooooo many ducts over the years!! EVEN semi trucks to counter bugs or stones!!!!!
HINT: I even put screens in front of radiator of Vettes. BUT: make sure you use fiberglass screens. Those would actually Touch the fins…..& thus it NEVER harmed the radiator one bit. But leaves, stones, bugs……pull it out, give it a good shake….& just like new.
Enjoy

Hey Team,
Asa came down from Spokane for weekend visit. He installed some after market parts for me. The 2 side outlet intakes and the two front for engine and trans coolers and some CF bling etc.
Headed over to Randy’s for dinner later.
Good Times,
Dawg
