I would certainly want to get to the bottom of this before something blows up.  I can’t recall but I thought there was something about the transmissions in the early Corvettes, this may be what it was.
What does the dipstick read now?

So I verified and yep that is what GM says to do BEFORE you race….you have to ask yourself why they just did not put the 2 extras quarts of ATF I’m the trans when they delivered the C8’s to Dealers or had dealers install but I have not got a answer that made sense other then the guy who said “It is only a money $$$$ dollar issue…build 50,000 C8’s and add up the cost of the ATF oil you don’t need to put in. For sure a bean counter decision. I can hear it now…

Other info was while you are Rev limited to the first 500 miles little being said by dealers about GM recommendation to NOT race the C8 until you have 1500 miles..:you can imagine how many guys did not get that message. 
I maybe talked two different service managers and they danced around those missing 2 quarts of oil. No one had a good answer except for the guy who said it was all about saving GM money! 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Z51's back then had slightly lower gear ratios from 1st thru 6th.Seems to me back then w 6 spd it was:0.9 OD in 5th0.65 OD IN 6th
C8 specs & more gears....have NO idea.Regardless: OD ANYWHERE:Creates heat,  & top gears are the tiniest gears in the box!!!!  (ANY BOX)
Use the rpms & spare the gears,Use the A/C whenever ya want!!  (But avoid at high rpm's or when ya need full throttle)
Now where's my head at?????I gotta consider I'm speaking to OWB!!!!

Thank you Bjoern! 🙂Believe SSCC will tech to 165 with a 155 average but not on my first run out. 
Driver not C8 challenge.  Having Asa Jay Laughton install the c8 harness bar similar to how we have Pantera set up to run faster without a roll bar or cage. 
Yea the 2-way in May sounds like a hoot.  Any of you TPR Boyz want to go in May?

Car & Driver magazine called it, “America’s Super Car”. 0-60 under 3 seconds, 194 mph top speed, Italian styling, beautiful interior, amazing engineering! Poor man’s Ford GT. 🥳

Should be at our annual TPR Board Meeting in Ely in September. 😂😂 Possibly May as well as I still have not done the 2-way run.
