In two weeks the Sand Hills ORR is in Arnold Nebraska. 

The only registered TPR veteran for the SORC is “Bud Hower” now 80 years young…. and he will be driving his Pontiac Fiero because his Pantera transaxle is still in repair shop.

 Bud laughed when he told me on the phone the SORC folks said he could not come back after he turned 84.

 My only question was,
“Bud didnt you tell them you were planning to live until you reach 102 which was the age his dad passed away. Anyway, GO BUD GO! 🥳 take photos and give a report post race.

For Silver State next month far as I know no one is ready or planning to run a Pantera. 

I believe Laurie, JB, Mark and now Randy have all  retired their Pantera’s from ORR. And while Peter, Chris, and Lee while all working on finishing their Pantera’s it doesn’t sound like they like Bud will get the parts they need to be ready with a Pantera.

Those of us planning to attend with “other” cars are me and Asa in my C8 and Paul in his Viper and Lee in either his wide body Challenger again or one of his Shelby’s.  

And Mark and Jim are bringing out one of Jims race cars (Mazda I believe right Jim?

On track and race schedules Randy has two track races in his Pantera and one of the races will conflict with Silver State. 

No word if Steve Lisa is campaigning Asa’s old Pantera in his race series. Steve, you still alive old man? 😉

Peter is back in Italy and following on to Munich for Octoberfest so he may not join us either this year.
