[TPR] Retiring the Pantera (s)

All we need to do is get O'L RED back together with the 6 point cage , twin fuel cells, with some ground effects, and we will be looking at the 240 MPH group if I don't loose my balls by then. I've hired two more shop guys, so it actually might be back on the horizon again after we get all the paying customers caught up with all the inventory builds that we are two years behind on. Pantera is all Painted, some assembly required with a few more underside ground effects modifications.

    Yo My Peeps,

    Who is ready to race?

Since ordering the new C8 a month ago (I can not say the entire name of that new car on order) but I have of late been looking at the Pantera with a 2nd set of warmer moist eyes (could be pink eye) and thought you might enjoy some of my MAD thoughts as I know half of you are contemplating selling your own Pantera’s because you are slackers too. 😉

Five fires later she is restored and she sure still looks and drives great.
However, Dennis keeps saying retire that old girl and buy a new anything else but while your at it buy a new C8 where you and Mark can average 160-170 mph with a beer between your legs and one arm out the window weaving at one another like JB, Asa and I did a few years ago. 😂😂

Mad Dawg says let‘s keep going fast no matter what happens. 🥷🏻👨🏽‍💻 Question is to keep her in the garage with the occasional sprint up or down the Redwood highway with a open road and one more open track event a year.

Dennis says, “where the hell is the new Pantera?” OH Yea it’s with Gerry. and he kept both the old and the all most new one. Hate you Gerry.
    LOL

So I have a year (12-18 months on order deposit wait list to decide to sell her or retire her but we will continue going to Ely for the annual TPR get together no matter what…

I know some of you have already bought a C8 or another replacement ride like Curt Toumanian who bought a race BMW last year and will join us this year in Ely to race or a new friend in Brookings who is bringing his C7 to race.

Lee who brought his wives wide body challenger last year and swears he is bringing his Pantera this year…we have a team!! Asa working on his Mach 1 and long shots are JB and Gerry. Right now if no one breaks we should have 3 maybe 4 Pantera’s ready to race in Sept. a miracle gets us 5.

And as Eric Belter said once,
“I don’t have the fire in the belly to go fast anymore”….yep I got it then and get it still today. But we all know Eric is a slacker (kidding) but a I’ll tell you no one is a better sniper then “one shot one kill” Belter. When we were at the ranch and heee put up my photo and shot both eyes out at 500 yards I realized I could never run fast enough.

MD looks better and is faster every damn year. And you all know that because I will keep saying it. 😆

Really long shots are JB and Peter who may still get ready. But I know short of death they will be back in Ely this year with us flying or driving support vehicles.

Either way it’s a never give up and never surrender attitude. So will continue asking for more Pantera owners to join us this fall and for everyone else in TPR to bring their moms car if the pantera isn’t ready to race.

As JB once said we may have to steal some Pantera’s from grumpy old guys whose Panteras are garage queens.🥸😎

    Let’s go racing!
