TPR Member News:

As many of you know Randy has been rebuilding a McClaren race car for the last couple years and yesterday he got a chance to run it for the first time at Oregon Raceway Park. 

He called me on his flip phone so of course there are no photos as usual but he was pretty excited about how successful the test drive was. 

So I had to ask Randy how the McClaren felt in comparison to the Pantera. And he laughed and said,
“By comparison the Pantera is a peddle car”.

Yea he was excited. His next re-build is Bruce McClaren’s personal GT coupe which Bruce drove before he was killed. 

Randy once told me all his cars were for sale. So my next question was are either of the  McClaren race cars for sale and his answer was,

“Eventually”
