'68 GTO (in 1970)  400ci/350hp/ 4 spd/ convertible: Filled w friends, out on winter ice on Lake Ontario.  (Ice can get 3 feet thick)
Doing maybe 120 mph.  Swerving back & forth slowly.  Then swing the wheel wild & go full throttle!!!!
We'd Spin wildly & take maybe 1/2 mile to stop!!!!
Musta done it 10 times that day!!

Hours or days later I remember thinking:
We should considered checking for 'Fissues' in advance!!!!

But we were teens....& we had Lots on our mind....& danger wasn't one of them!!

Whoever would overthrow the Liberty of a Nation, must begin by subduing the Freeness of Speech!!

Not a real good close up but it looked like a casual veer off into the right lane and smack into the post of the Goodyear sign.  It didn’t look like a loss of control due to an up shift (at least not to me but again it was too far away).  Maybe he passed out from the acceleration?
