How many of you remember the Sgt Rock Comic books? 

I read them all before I was 13… Well Ernie is a real life Sgt Rock. You don’t have to own a Pantera to appreciate what a killer job Ernie did on this latest restoration. 

Like Asa’s dad “Bullet” Ernie is one of those guys you know God broke the mold on these guys. 

As an aside I need to share with the team that Ernie was already an amazing guy. With an amazing background. 

An infantry NCO during the Korean War who was promoted to 1st Sgt. before he even returned to the States. 

And besides his combat exploits in Korera Ernie had successful careers in business and more circle track wins then most racers ever attended. The Rock’s  list of accomplishments is long and distinguished. 

Hey CD#3 ask your dad if you can tag along with him  in Sept. and meet us in Ely. 

Asa you need to do the same with Bullet again. Seeing these two old war horses together would be an honor.
