MD,
It's certainly One thing to drive like that in a Purpose built, tube frame Race car!! But I will never lose sight of YOU guys, running at speeds you were at......w 49 year old cars!! The work involved had to be as much as I as I did!! (or more)
(At that time, my car was only 7 years old!!)
Very likely a Tip of the Hat ( or bottle ) is due all the way around!!!!

AWESOME VIDEO of Dave “CD#3”(link below) where Dave is headed into turn at high speed in the M&M race car at the BBORR...and he doesnt even roll over or catch on fire either😂🤣

HAWK, do you remember that cross road on Hwy 287. I dont as I had my eyes closed which would explain why I was so slow. That turn at high speed has to be mind bending..../see Dave's email below.

Was it CR-2200???? That curve used to be real bumpy on the inside, so I ran half a lane over from Apex.

Those curves up & thru there were 'Incredible' at speed!!! A mile farther up road is a rock cut with an 'S' turn at the crest!! The 'in car' camera went wild......as the back end kicked out a couple times!!!! It wasn't the plan!! But as we crested, car got light on tires!! Last kick out, set us up for downhill run!!!
Dan likely never knew it was happening!!! ( he was sooo busy reading notes on what's next!!)
