Hi Asa Jay, Thanks for writing and a very Happy Birthday to dear Shelley!!!  Funny thing is I had very little of that meal, my son 'n law likes it, my daughter didn't want any after one bite, Cami wasn't home, and Aidan is forever glued to his PS4 and even with that, there was nothing left which is weird for Maggiano's usual portions.  I agree it is always really good ...excepting this time.  Since manager never called back I wrote one of my charming reviews on their Facebook page and Guest Relations wrote back right away.  I haven't called manager back yet as he left me a message... just don't feel like complaining (for a change) and I don't want another meal from them.
On the virus status, I do have to add that my family from Portland was just here for Wyatt's second birthday and Christmas.  The two year old and his Dad had tested positive for Covid about a month ago but My Jackie and Wyatt's little sister, 6 mo. old were negative.  Dad got it on a golf trip in Oregon and his buddy got it too and gave it to his wife who was pretty ill but no need for hospitalization.  My fam. quarantined by separating in same house, two upstairs, two downstairs for two weeks.  Not much in way of symptoms, 2 year old had little loss of appetite and warmish for day or two, his dad had some easy cold symptoms.  I asked doc. if okay if I was with them when they were here and was told okay as long as they had quarantined and had no symptoms.  I hugged and kissed little ones a zillion times so hope I remain okay.  They left on the 28th so I'll see how I am next week or so.  No other bad symptoms except from that evil dinner but Tums took care of it.Hope everyone stays well.   Since the news is so depressing of late, I've resorted to series od'ing on Netflix shows.  Just finished a pretty interesting series...I'd have to say pretty much a girly flick too, but I like 19th Century love stories. This one was most intriguing...Bridgerton (oooh la la).  What movie did you guys see?Cheerio,Laurie

 Laurie,
Sorry to hear.  Maggiano's is usually pretty good.  At first I was going to say you really shouldn't eat a dinner for four all by yourself. :)  But then I read the rest of your email.

Shelley and I stayed home, watched a chick-flick and then went to bed early.  Yesterday was her birthday so we took her out to dinner.  Great meal.

 Get better miss Ferrari,
 Asa Jay

Fortunately I do not have Covid (as far as I know since I was tested) BUT more deadly, I nearly died from the Maggiano's New Year's Special meal last night.  Their special for four, probably lucky that it was barely good enough for two, the chicken piccata had MORE SALT than the SALT MINES.  Instead of champagne I drank a gallon of water afterward.  Usually they have great food and very generous portions but for this special, WHAT THE???? How can four people share one small piece of lasagna or a small portion of spaghetti?  Felt ill all night and this is the one time I truly regret not cooking MYSELF!!!!    HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL AND GET WELL WISHES TO OUR DEAR PAUL.   Laurie

  Newz Flash!!!
Veteran ORR racer (Paul Katchadourian) in Feank has Covid...now in 5th day. Physician will most likely sign off on his returning to work  after 10 day self quarantine. Yea is was 14 days but now its 10.
Good news is Paul never needed to be hospitalized. He just had a minor (100-101f) fever, some sinus congestion and usual aches and pains related to seasonal flu and only one oddball temporary issue which is his sense of smell isnt working which should return....but if it doesn't... he figures that is a good thing which confirms what JB and Dave Carpenter been saying for months. Its temporary PIA but you will survive 99% (my data stat ;-)  like you have all times you had flu before.....but if you think your old, have a pre-existing condition, fat, low immune system stay the hell home.
Okay who else do you know personally who has been infected...share the stories. As obviously the POCA Board must know something I dont since they delayed the annual fun rally two years to 2022🧐🙄
