Looks like you are indeed living on the edge... but without knowing
it...hahaha...
Obviously, your 40 year old hard hat has been extremely overexposed for
both age and UV radiation. Never seen a hard hat faded like yours...

NB! Hard hats should always be replaced between 2-5 years and on a regular
basis, just like our critical race tires.
They have a production date code stamped on them for a reason, just like
your Pantera tires...go and have a look 😉

The glue on all your hat stickers are indeed bad for the plastic as well.
Were you never approached by your HSE supervisor until now?
