I could use that guy again but I have no recollection of who he was. It's impossible to avoid door dings in this city with teensy parking spots and careless people! At least I'll try to get those scraches out. You do think I'll get the product, don't you? They had a cash discount for a SEMA special and it should be coming in the mail. : )

>> What a great letter and story MD, and what a beautiful day you had! How true, we have all become close through the years, attributable to our love of our Panteras. Happy 40th birthday to your beauty. Also so glad to learn something about Asa Jay's Dad and that he is doing better! Hope he continues on with a speedy recovery.

>> I, on the other hand, had the opposite of fall leaves and peacefulness as I was in massive crazy crowds at the SEMA show in Vegas. Looked back to the past as well as I saw all the companies that make parts I've had to buy myself in the past 21 years for my P and all the parts we use: Koni, Mcleod, Odyssey, Optima, Yokohama, and so on. Then I was checking out hundreds of interesting products that would be helpful to us. I bought a paint repair kit from Dr. Color Chip (https://www.drcolorchip.com/) in Rosso Red for my Fiat as my Pantera's white pearl paint can't be matched. The guy's demonstration was impressive. Better than touch up paint as you can put on in excess of actual spot needing repair, wait to dry few minutes, use another substance and then rub excess off with special cloths included ... paint is then permanent and looks smooth, not tacky like when using regular touch up paint. Looked fairly easy; hope it works, it's at least worth a try. Company has been written up in an article for Porsche Magazine. That brings me to the next product of interest. Global Paint Protection Film. (http://mnsglobalgroup.com/?page_id=41&ckattempt=1). Reports show it's a promising investment market too. You wrap up your beautiful Pantera so it doesn't get chips or scratches on the road.
>> There were just so many companies and products; looked around for two days but didn't even put a dent in it (excuse the expression). I ran into Larry Stock, never knew he was a pro skier in the past, then Lloyd Butfoy with his incredible display and transmissions. I also have a new generous collection of company logo bags to take to the grocery and lots of pens from NBC Sports for those students (always) in need.

>> Sun and blue skies on a cool fall day. What could be better then taking the Pantera for a drive through roads filled with fallen fall leaves.
>>
>> This is vineyard hill country so these roads next to my home were made for a Pantera.
>>
>> As I walked into the garage I paused for just a minute to look her over. I bought the Pantera 40 years ago today. Did a walk around admiring the original styling that made me fall in love with the Pantera years ago. Yea she still has it.
>>
>> I started it and slowly backed her out of the garage letting it idle for a minute or so before I turned onto the road ahead Into the valley below.
>>
>> Stopped at a Shell station in a small town and filled her up. A new kid at the pump went on and on about never seeing a Pantera before. After he posed for a photo i headed to Astoria (home of the Goonies) and had breakfast and drive home.
>>
>> As an aside I got a call from Asa that his amazing dad, “Bullet” was in the hospital for a medical procedure and the good new is Bullet is recovering well.
>>
>> Spoke to Bullet for a little while. Bullet asked if I had taken the Pantera for a ride Lately. Surprise! AlI I kept thinking about was Bulletd days flying bombers and fast movers over Nam and doing classified Recon flight missions over Russia back in the early 60’s and his hanging out with us all when Asa ran his Pantera.
>>
>> Something else happened today on that ride to Astoria. It made me think of all the awesome times I have had with the Pantera the last 40 years and all of you who I have had the honor to get to know and hang out with.
>>
>> Owning the Pantera wasnt always fun but it also was never boring. And neither were any of you.
>>
>> Mad Dawg, looking forward to the holidays and the new year👍🏼
