 AJ, you're starting to sound like Mikey. lol
You say it appeared all 4 Panteras on the line had coolant overflow tubes out the back?  My overflow goes into a tank so I'd be really surprised any came out of mine.  Did you see coolant coming out of all of the four cars?

While I stood on the start line: Mark left a pancake size puddle (coolant?) on the line so everyone was in a panic. It appeared all Panteras were running coolant overflow out the back as we all know to do.  Race director was watching this (vettevegasgirls were quite vocal) then of course when Gerry left his overflow was blowing water like a firehose then a cloud of steam . . 





 

My suggestion would be to run the overflow into a bottle so steam and coolant would be invisible for a while.
