MD, yes you could be correct on that CRS part ... for at least the >1,000,000th time it's BYARS, not Byers, although they might consider changing their name as most everyone misspells it that way. : )
Okay.. here's what I'd love to have from you TPR Racers. If you can concisely summarize your overall ORR experience(s) in a paragraph or two that'd be great. I have already comprised a list of all Pantera race results from SSCC and NORC, w/ car numbers, navigators and avg. times... but from 1997 to present. That's what is published on the SSCC website. There are older and other races too that would be excellent to include, as I did get some 1992 BluBlocker Silver 100 State race results from Pete Beckman. So... any additional info. you'd like to share about your experiences, your car, anything interesting at all that you'd like to add, would be great, also a picture of your car and yourself.
Just email me at: laurieferrari at aol.com
Checking on ways to accomplish this book in best way possible but I need the data from you all first to work with. Just send when convenient.
Thanks kindly,
Laurie

Hey mY pEePs,
First want to thank Asa for an amazing job on documenting this year's run to SSCC on our tpr website.
Secondly, thanking all of you again (Mark, JB, Gerry, and md) who made the sacrifices (time, blood, & $$$$) to show up and run and win like JB did we just could never felt the same about WTH am I still doing this thing we do.
And without our support team of Asa, Peter-the-German, the Pope (Crazy Dave #1) and of course Laurie we could have never got
tow rigs and our cursed trailers down to the finish line.
Now as we look ahead to next year lets support Laurie who is starting monumental task of documenting the TPR ORR history with photos and narratives and a little history of you and your Pantera's into a full color, hard bound book that include some early ORR pioneers (Junior, Pete Beckham, Charlie Puckett, Bobby Byers, and anyone else I may have missed here due to CRS diease).
This book is not going to be done for a while as she needs to interview everyone and collect photos from veterans still alive. But photos, with car numbers and approximate dates of when you participated at any one of the ORR's to include SORC in Nebraska and the BORR in Texas and also the ones that are no more (Pony Express, Gamblers Run, LaCarrera, LaBufadora).
In the meantime it is never to early to start getting ready for next year...caus wotza behind us no matta...unless it for the GLORY OF TEAM PANTERA RACING!
In 5-10 years some of us will only be holding on to that book with our cold all most dead fingers and I will let Laurie give her report on the details of her project.
JB, Mark and I will be bankrolling this project so don't worry if we don't buy sheeeit for you other slackers next year
