Hey my Peeps,
Here is our dream plan/schedule for 2019.
I am in Oregon now but headed back to Cali to pick up Pantera after the Pantera comes out of the paint shop...most likely January assuming no mountain pass snow storms.
I know Rowdy, Bud, Frank and Mark are planning a return to the SORC next year.
Just spoke to Paul this morning and JB last month about doing the 2-way run in May at the NORC. Sounds like 2-3 of us are down for that.
And just started conversation with NW Pantera ‘s to put together an open track event at Portland International (PIR) sometime late summer. May have to tag onto one of the other car clubs if I can’t get on schedule or make my own.
I have two guys interested in the PIR event and one also interested in doing the NORC or SS or perhaps both. The most experienced Pantera racer has open track experience and owns and runs his own restoration shop in Big Bend
So that guy would be an awesome addition. Most of the other NW guys like the rest of the POCA country ain’t ever gonna run their Pantera's in any kind of competition in the future
However we have Peter who is in that final 5% completion and making more progress and Asa who is working on his Mach 1 where he is in the final 95% restoration 🤪 before we all know it it will be 2019 again
So assuming everyone stays healthy and no one gets hit by a bus or WORK we could have a solid 5-6 at SS in Sept and 2-4 for the NORC and maybe 3-4 more at the SORC and anyone’s guess about the BORR.
I know I would like to return to both the SORC and the BBOR but then I am finding out that you can be as busy in retirement as working for the man. . .
Then there is the Caribu hunt in Alaska and my farewell boat voyage up in Puget Sound San Juan’s with my brother ....on and on and then trips down to see JB, Erik and Peter in warm California during the winter.
HAHA
Miss you guys
