Excellent!!
What my Grand-Daughter brought me last year from Omaha Beach!!!
She could NOT have gotten me anything More Important!!!!!

My Dad landed on Omaha Beach D-Day + 3 days!
My navigator in M&M car for years; RT Green- his Father landed on Omaha Beach, D-Day + 3 HOURS!!
He ‘passed’ last week!

A saying I hold Near & Dear:
“If you read & write, Thank a Teacher!
If you do it in English, THANK a SOLDIER!!”

So:
THANKS......a Bunch!!!

The 2018 D-Day celebrations include all kinds of events including re-enactments by locals and others.  The shear number of restored WW2 Jeeps was amazing.  Add some half-tracks, deuces and a good handful of motorcycles and it was almost like being there, less the mud and bullets.
