Right on Marco Polo! No excuses. You have been thru a hellva ordeal....glad you are ready to kick some Corvette ass. Motivating me now.
She is mechanically ready...got my new  19" and 20" wheels, a 2nd 10 pound fire bottle, an extra CMU, HP fuel pump from Germany, 8-piston BREMBO brakes, Borla exhausts, extra hoses, spare engine (750 RWHP) and tires plus the mandatory new 5-point harness.
My engine we raised compression to 14:1, secret race cam with all most an inch of lift and 840 duration, with twin turbo charging should make 1,700 RWHP. Or that is what it made on data program JB gave me.
Some white low life (looked like Rowdy) backed into the rear right quarter so in the next 3 weeks will be taking the Pantera down to bare metal again and fixing that....the other driver? He's dead.
The Pantera is so SCARY fast I am afraid to take it north of 200 Mph.

Hopefully engine has recovered from a blown head gasket and other stuff.
Upon installation of heads, I noticed that the roller link bar on 1 and 5 cylinders were broken. This required a new camshaft & lifters. Gave it to an engine guy and upon disassembly they found a cracked piston top as well as cracked camshaft thrust plate at the beginning of July.
Just got here fired up this afternoon.
I'll be ready. No excuses permitted for you guys out West.  Lets show Vegas Vetts what Panteras can do.

drove the pantera again today and finally opened the secondaries.  A CHP came screaming up behind me as I backed down to 75 and after a short time behind me, took the next exit.  Scared Charlie on the 280 on-ramp.  Way too much power so gonna put a 2-barrel carb on with an air injection pump and see if that does it.  Fixed the vacuum pump so now the brakes work.  Feels light and  like it has power steering.  Gotta get used to it again.  Put a sand bag in the front truck and didn't help.

 Yo My Peeps....

MORE good news....Mark’s new engine fired up. So now it’s a tune up and buttoning up usual loose ends. Because Yea it’s a Pantera so you know the list never ends.

Waiting for JB’s report and headed to bed now but feeling pretty damn excited about this year’s team.

Asa, Laurie, The German, Crazy Dave #1 as our “Crew” How in the hell could we not have a good time😃
