Thanks Dave. It was a little scary running North on 280 at about 90 and came up on traffic and I quickly learned I had very little brakes. Not a good feeling. The rest of the 50 mile trip was tense in Bay Area traffic. Got home and found the wire from the vacuum pump pressure switch had snapped off so the power brake booster was not working at all. Surprising about of force is needed to stop the car in that condition. :) Since the cam only produces about 4 inches of vacuum at idle, a vacuum pump is mandatory. The 4 inches makes setting idle impossible. After Silver State it's time to pull this cam and put something a little more drivable (like a Hall HP6) back it.
You may not know this but all Pantera's were originally shipped from the factory in yellow because it is the only logical choice. Some people got them repainted but can't figure out why anyone would do that! :) hahaha

JB braved triple digit temps wild fires and Cali drivers and “again” took OL’YELLA for another road test. And drove the beast home!
His attitude was it can’t run that good two times in a row can it? Well we can thank the Pantera gods she ran well.
JB still working out the bugs but this photo of him leaning out of bed says it all....decklid even has the Katch Sponsor decals still on it.
