[TPR] DAWG REPORT

Good advice.  Just for the record, I started this push to Ely in early May of 2016.  Sometimes the best laid plans do not succeed.  Starting with finding and purchasing two supposedly good standard-bore 4-bolt Cleveland blocks for a thousand bucks each in early June 2016, it has been a series of setbacks.  Those continue.  Heading to the garage while keeping an eye on Irma heading straight towards my sisters house in Tampa.  Stressful few days ahead.

THAT is definitely the BEST suggestion for ALL of us TPR brothers to follow in preparation for any race(s) we expect to participate in the next year! The fact that BOTH my fellow racers @ SORC had to drive "momma's cars" this year & our forth member had his car torn down & couldn't come & play with us at all   because they had neglected to be properly prepared by race time

Your gonna make it honeyWe both were...don't want to read any negative talk about Pantera not being ready. You and Mad Dawg have had a year!
Steve Donegan asked me WHY we Pantera peeps always wait until the last two weeks before we start....obviously Irish doesn't know the long ass story you, Mark and Me have had
I Can honestly say I can never remember a time when we were all wrenching major mechanical on our Pantera's ....yea crazy but that is our thing

I still have not got my starter in.  Long story.  Going to heat the bell housing with a torch on Saturday morning to see if I can get the last stud out.  Even if it comes out, its going to be tight to get it ready to race.  Still planning to drive my truck to Ely on Thursday morning and I might or might not have a Pantera on on a trailer behind it.
Nice to hear Donny has an all-hands-on-deck attitude and looks like you are gonna make it.

Thanks to Donny Byers (At Full Throttle Pantera's) being like a dawg on a bone it looks like he will get engine back late today from Russ Fulp's after Fulp's repairing the rear main seal again. 

Donny will re-install everything back in ItBWild and after some more road test miles in SoCal she should be ready for SS late Saturday and will drive town to trailer it back to Fresno Saturday or Sunday.

Everything else Donny needed to do he has done twice (haha) and to Russ Fulp's credit he has agreed to pay for all repair costs and reimburse Donny for the repairs and Donnys R&R x 2 time.

Ordered our extra $10,000 dollar NO $ 25,000 sponsorship decals 🤔

And Asa and I and Paul will all see you in Ely.
We WILL be there Thursday.
