Haters gonna hate! :)This engine guy has been doing tons of extra work so we'll see if it's all worth it. You can't take it with you. The owner of the shop had health problems around the time I dropped it off so there were a few moths with little progress. They have now hired two more guys and they are picking up speed. I'll be ready for SSCCJB

8-9+ months to do a block is beyond reasonable, and the last time I got custom pistons (and rods) they were a several week thing. Something is not right with that shop IMHO.

Good shops always are backlogged and JB needed custom Pistons too

I'll be there, I think. I dropped my block off at the shop in early June and it's still not done. I hope the shop didn't flood last night! 😳. Too dang wet out here on the wrong coast JB
