[TPR] TPR Updates, 2017

Asa, you're correct about it being too late to get a shot @ making the grid
for this years' SORC.........WAY too late! Entries are only accepted on or
after the 1st Monday in October for the next years' race. They ALWAYS
receive MORE entries on the FIRST day than they have grid spots allotted
for the race so all of of the entries that first day are thrown into a
"Lottery" barrel & randomly(?) picked out. Too many new racers are hearing
how much fun it is and wanting to get on the grid & it's getting harder &
more of a crap shoot every year to be picked as a participant! TPR is LUCKY
to have Bud, Frank & I in it this year & would have had Mark if he hadn't
been several days late getting his entry in & is now on the LONG waiting
list. 😞 I'm thinking that Dawgy has been a BAD (??) influence on Mark
since he's been running SSCC and has acquired MD's affinity to " sleeping
under the porch" WAY TO MUCH!! BTW, passing Tech @ SORC is a piece of cake
compared to ANY other ORR anywhere....bar none. If anyone has any questions
about the race after checking out their website just give me a call or drop
me an email. Is it AUGUST yet?????????? 🏁
