[TPR] 2017 ORR season reminders

Hey all,
2017 might bring some significant changes to your favorite open road 
race, so please, please, please download and read the rule book for the 
race you plan to enter.  As an example, NORC and SSCC have changed 
helmet rules and added a new speed target of 155 MPH.  There may be 
other changes as well.  For BBORR and SORC, I can't say if anything has 
changed, but it's incumbent on you to read the rulebook and make sure 
you are good-to-go.

And as reminders:
- Check the date codes on your tires
- Check the date codes on your race harnesses
- Check the pressure on your fire extinguisher (consider replacing it if 
it's too old, the content will settle and solidify)
- Check the date on your race helmet, it's your noggin' on the line here
- Consider changing your brake fluid if you haven't for a couple of years
- Consider changing your coolant if you haven't for a few years
- Check your brakes
- Service your transaxle
- New air filter, new fuel filter
- Check your hoses (coolant and fuel), replace as needed
- Give your carb a fresh rebuild, or throw some injector clean in for 
you EFI guys
- Check and double-check everything

know what you plan on this year, so we can live vicariously through your 
adventures.  :)
