Had an interesting experiment this weekend on something Steve Wilkinson told me about original Campy's

I have about 7 original 15x8" campy's I plan to run on the street when Donny finishes all the work on my pantera.

Steve Wilkinson showed me an added inspection trick on any wheels you are considering reconditioning Campys

It is holding the wheel up on a wire and if it pings it usually means you have a good mag wheel. If it thuds it means don't bother reconditioning or powder coating unless you know someone who really knows how to repair them.

Two of my 7 wheels didn't pass the test so going to see if so can put them on the pantera to see if I can start a fire. 😂
