Yo Dawgy,
Ring gear on the flywheel is vastly different than ring gear in the ZF.  There are no ratios.  If you try to change the ratio....  you're starter won't engage.

But you knew all that.
You must have been distracted by the big ti*s.

     moving along. Dropped the flywheel off yesterday for balance and noticed the ring gear had a couple chipped teeth.  Looking for a replacement now.   
   Crank should be back from grind and ready to balance early next week.
