[TPR] Houston we have a problem

No he hasn't asked me anything other than if I had his original program file
which I sent to him last week. Guess I should have asked what was going on.
1. My first question would be, what changed?
2. Did the system get removed and reinstalled on the motor?
3. It is highly unusual for one "bank" to be leaner than the other. Both
banks get fuel from the same source.
4. How do you know that one bank is leaner than the other?
5. Didn't you get one of the synchronizer tools that shows air flow in each
stack?
6. Asa may be right about it being something simple. I once went all the
way to France because "this #$%@ fuel injection will not work" that turned
out to be a dirty fuel filter.
7. Need to know the symptoms.
8. Dennis: Call me.

Dennis,
What are the symptoms of the engine running? What prompted you to have the
EFI checked? Does it "feel" bad in some way?
Have you talked with Mike Trusty? Has he given any idea what might be a
cause of being out of sync?
Dick had it tuned pretty sweet, so it could be something benign like a fuel
filter or FOD in a fuel log leading to one bank.
If all else fails, if Mike can give me a good idea of what to do, we may be
able to do it in Ely. Though honestly I -don't- want to be compared to the
guy tuning the carbs on his ancient Jaguar a few ago and who (I
think) never even started the race.
We might need a special tool or two. If so, we have half a snowballs chance
of getting what we need prior to flight.
Don't give up. We can make this happen. After all, we can't let Paul run
and not you. ;)
By the way, did you get Paul a waiver from Rookie school?

have also been waiting a week plus for this loser to show up. Bad news for
all involved....and I thought painters were bad. This beats the cake. Yea
like you say John, "ya just can't trust people".

the tuner who did work for MikeT originally who is also in LA.

get here I can drive where ever it takes to get the FI tuned. Again issue is
TB's are out of sync and one bank is too rich and the other is lean.
