Planning a return to SSCC in September if I can get a gig and make the required bucks.

Yes indeed :-) If you want one go to adafruit.com and get on their notification list. Given they are a stripped down Pi you would want the full kit rather than just the 5$ unit by itself unless you already have the various adapter cables :-) Fun little (damned little) computer :-)
