[TPR] Car Porn - Prep for SSCC 2015 09 05

Presenting your daily recommended dose of car porn, I bring the following:

- Mark's carb, rebuilt, installed, tuned and awesome, along with a 
visual of new Blue Petronix spark plug wires
- The oil temp sender, with adapter to fit the large front pan bung
- The assembled temp sender to adapter with teflon tape and the wire 
fitting.  I like these push on fittings more than using the teensy nut, 
and man was this one tight.  I also used a multi-meter at each stage of 
installation to make sure the teflon tape wasn't interfering with a good 
ground.  All is good.
- The oil temp sender installed and wired
- The wire for the oil temp sender goes through the firewall in the same 
grommet as the speedo cable.  I also ran the O2 sensor wires through there.
- I drained the ZF after getting back from the alignment shop; while the 
fluid was warm.  The plug had some filings on it.  This trans has never 
been rebuilt and it would be a good idea to do that in the next few years.
- Last, should be a shot of the drivers side interior showing the roll 
bar padding in place.

I feel the engine is tuned the best I'm going to get it without putting 
it on a dyno at this point.  The carb feels good, the pull feels good; 
it seems pretty smooth, once warm it idles at about 650 and purrs.  
Alignment is now done, ZF fluid is changed, roll bar padding is on.  Oil 
temp sender works, A/F gauge works (it was -really- handy for setting 
mixture).  New cap, rotor, plug wires, coil wire and spark plugs (NGK 
UR4).  New tires are mounted, balanced and on the car; date codes are 
are all early 2015, front are matched and backs are matched.

I think the Panther is ready.  :)

Now I have to check trailer wiring on the truck and match it to my 
buddies trailer.  Go through the pre-flight checklist to make sure we 
have everything like tools, drivers suit, helmet, etc. for the trip.  
I'll be gone four days this next week, so my time is getting limited.

On the plus side.... Bullet -might- yet go; his physical therapy appears 
to be doing some good.
