Appreciate your info.
I just chatted with Nick at Tirerack and he informed me that the tires
(Pirelli Rosso System Asimmetrico 335/30ZR18) were manufactured 10/2015
(March)
That's pretty fresh tires. But they just received them in September, which
is actually 6 months after prod. date.
He said that was normal, as Pirelli do test the first batches before
releasing them.
(This is a new tire/part number from Pirelli).

To all you other guys I really want to recommend the Pirelli tires.
I've done 9 SSCC/NORC events on the same tires and have had ZERO failures
in 33000 miles (4,5 years).
I am replacing them due to age restrictions at the SSCC, you can barely see
they are used...
Not to shabby IMO...
