Thanks John....Thinking about your daughter and my son and everyone else who is currently or has previously served and here are some of the best words I have read on this subject:
"WHAT IS A VETERAN
A VETERAN WHETHER ACTIVE DUTY, DISCHARGED, OR RESERVE IS SOME ONE WHO HAS AT ONE TIME IN HIS OR HER LIFE WROTE A 'BLANK CHECK' PAYABLE TO THE "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA"  UP TO AND INCLUDING HIS LIFE.
THAT IS HONOR, AND THERE ARE FAR TOO MANY PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY TODAY WHO NO LONGER UNDERSTAND THAT FACT."
