Now there's a good gal! That Summer Summit sounded like a great event. Is that the one where you stayed at the Biltmore Estate? (i've been there.) Are you sure the gal hadn't passed out? My first ride on a very skinny treacherous mountain road was when I was an extra on a wine run with San Diego chapter long time ago.... so I was put in the car with one of the guys. On way to Cilurzo Winery event he was wayyyy exceeding the posted signs (the ones I could manage to see) and I thought that was it for me...I was quiet too...busy praying. I would have rather expired on the way home from the wine tasting, not before .... but I seriously thought I'd never step into a Pantera again. Funny how things work out.
Reminds me a lot of the trip I took to N. Carolina for the Summer Summit put on by Michael Shortt a few years back in which we got to drive the "Tail of the Dragon road" in both directions. WOW, what a ride! Granted, we were not hauling quite as fast as this guy but with an 11 mile long road with 318 turns at or above the speed limit it was certainly a HOOT. BTW Laurie, I had Cleveland Larry's girlfriend as my passenger & she had never ridden in a Pantera before & she was having a blast........quiet most of the time as a matter of fact.......... :o))

Subject: [TPR] Pantera Values
Guys & Ms. Laurie,
I spoke to Haggerty folks (JB & Frank) today about renewal (JB & Frank) and they said average selling price for a pantera (JB & Frank) in good condition is $58 grand! (JB & Frank)....$58,000 bucks....Where have I been?
So for (JB any Frank) of you slackers (JB & Frank who ain't driving your Pantera anymore NOW is the time to sell before the next recession starts.
Biblical (AJ) trend on economy is 7 years up and 7 years down.
Tim to sell is right NOW....after SORC and SSCC of course. ;-)
