I got home from Sam's Bible camp yesterday (Saturday) and pretty much
spent the rest of the afternoon being lazy around the house.

Today (Sunday) after Church and lunch (and a small nap), I hit the
Pantera again. I tried adjusting the tension nut on the steering rack
but at this point I don't think I'm getting any more loosening of the
rack. I think it's pretty much what it is. It does seem a lot smoother
and easier to turn thankfully.

Then, I pulled all the carb parts from the five gallon can of carb clean
and started in on the carb.  I think I had it soaking a bit too long;
the gold Holley coating is all coming off and revealing the the cast
aluminum underneath. Oh well, I didn't need it to look Holley gold
anyway. I've blown out all the passages and cleaned all the gasket
surfaces.

I've assembled and adjusted the float bowls (final adjust will be made
on the car). I started in on the metering blocks but stopped for the
night. I should probably be able to finish assembly tomorrow night and
if I still have time, maybe mount it on the car.

Next I need to:
- cut access holes to finish bolting in the roll cage
- remove left exhaust to mount an O2 bung for the A/F meter
- change ZF fluid (need to order it first)
- get new tires mounted/balanced
- get front end aligned (or at least check the toe)
- change engine oil
- check wiring on truck to my buddy's trailer

We aren't done yet and it's getting close.
