 Subject: [TPR] Fire story

Let me bore you with this story one more time----

Short version: I was changing the V8 Miata from efi to a carb set up and fought a weepy (so I thought) AN fitting for days. Also going on the car was a new ignition system.
When the gas leak was fixed (so I thought) it was time to check the ignition system. I picked a fire extinguisher that showed "in the green" and set it down next to the driver door.
When the giant fireball occurred I said to myself "yep, got spark!" And jumped out of the car, grabbed the fire bottle and pulled the pin----what happened can best be described as a weak baby squeezing a tube of toothpaste. The needle was in the green but the car in the garage next to the Pantera was still on fire.

I recommend you are quite sure you have a good fire bottle.

That is all.

Sent from my handheld gizmo, please forgive my typing!
