Phil's brother wrote a very unselfish letter on the SSCC Message Board about Phil's death. While he suggested like Amy who was navigating for Phil that 'may' have been distracted just before going off course there was suggestion by Bob that Phils helmet came off his head sometime during roll over and his HANS device which should of been rigged to the helmet was not and/or his chin strap may have been lose...lots of conjecture but have to respect Phil's brother for not blaming the road, the event or the organizers.
