[TPR] Good news, bad news

I finally dragged my butt out to the garage tonight to start the inevitable task of finding out what happened at sscc. Well, the good news is I'll be getting a new engine soon! :). The bad news is it looks like the cam is wasted. I pulled a valve cover and found one rocker really loose and one loose enough to make noise. I pulled the other side and found three loose!  All the adjusting nuts/locks were tight. Bad sign. The only thing I can think of that would cause many loose rockers is a wasted cam. The rocker studs were also tight. Now I need to pull the interior and put a wrench on the crank. I'll put a dial indicator on a pushrods and check lift. I got a bad feeling. I guess that also explains the high oil temp and low oil pressure at speed. The cam was committing suicide. JB
