if you think you have an engine balance problem (very unlikely) you should verify that at 5,000 rpm in first gear.  If there is a resonance at the same rpm in every gear, its possible you have a problem.  Typically if an engine gets out of balance, it won't last long.  The crank twisting forces are huge.

Not a bad idea, except this damper was rebuilt by Damper Dudes recently and is no longer stock.  The bolt is a good point; I'll check that when I take the firewall cover off to do other work.
