I failed to mention that Mark was the 'only' vintage car in his class that finished today. 

There was a '67 Charger but he DNF'd.  No other vintage car went faster then Mark today... except Blaine Spendlove's '67 Mustang who averaged 135 mph but that was a SCCA race prepared Mustang.

Wanna give a shout out to our buddies Steve "Irish" Donegan and Al "Marine" Mann who got a 2nd place trophy today  in Steve's 370Z....

Our friend Charlie Friend DNF'd in his Corvair from Hell in the 180 Mph class well actually went off road but did not roll over and not seriously injured....and Jim Peruto was the only Unlimited car and Jim DNF'd as well...Jim by the way still holds the Unlimited.record of 217 mph average in his his X Cup race.car

Fast.speed for the day was a race prepared Z06 driven by Tom Whalen who AVERAGED 183.66 MPH.
