I have an extra "new" "set for ya....

They are attached to each arm and then attached  or looped on to your 5-point harness...you can adjust for length but the idea is in a crash it keeps your arms from jerking around inside or outside the vehicle.

I don't like them but have got used to them as they have been a requirement in SS and Unlimited for 2-3 years now. Check the RULE BOOK as they may even be a requirement for GT or GS now..... And on your harness quick release they come off very  easily.

Subject: [TPR] Arm restraints

Hey all,

What's the scoop on arm restraints for racing?  How do they work?  do they attach to the car or the person?  Does anyone have any photos they can provide?

For the 2013 SSCC, I'm looking to move up to the Grand Touring class, which requires arm restraints.  I just want to understand them better as I begin looking for the right equipment.

Thanks,
Asa
