[TPR] Updated tunes for the old girl

Risking invoking the wrath of the Mad Dawg, I've decided to install a 30
year old Alpine head unit into the Pantera.  She's been without a
working radio since I got her nearly 15 years ago.  The last five she
hasn't even had one installed as you may have seen from prior photos.

Driving around with a huge hole in the dash (or three as the case may
be) was getting tiresome and just a little embarrassing.  Years ago a
friend gave me an old Alpine AM/FM Cassette player, with -knobs-;
perfect for the Pantera without having to hack up the dash.  All I had
to do was buy a new faceplate and the plastic knobs, which I did very
shortly after he gave it to me years ago (you can't actually find parts
for this one anymore, at all).

Fast forward to today.  I had to open up the rectangular hole in the
dash by about an eighth inch lengthwise and the radio slipped right in. 
Yeah, new tunes.  But of course, the speakers were upwards of 40 years
old.  The drivers side was so bad there was no paper left and the magnet
had become separated from the voice coil.  Nice.  So I -did- have to buy
a new set of speakers, oh, and a new antenna.

I'm probably into the whole thing for only $50.

I bet this gives me at least 5 more MPG and 50 more HP and 25 more MPH
on the top end.  I just might have to challenge Mad Dawg for that
$10,000 prize purse for anyone that runs SSCC faster than him.

On the down-to-earth side, I did receive my new arm restraints and my
K&N cleaning kit for the air filter.  It may not need to be totally
cleaned; I'll probably just use some low pressure air to dust it off and
then re-oil it this year.

The rack is totally in the car and my appointment for a front end
alignment is this coming Wednesday morning.  I'd drive it to a car show
today but I really don't want to chance scrubbing the tires any more
than I have to, to get it to the alignment shop.  So we'll stay home,
besides, Sam has been such a good helper in the garage these last few
weeks working on the car, we're taking him to the local block party
later today.  He's excited about that.
