If I can make it, I weigh 188 and pack light, maybe 40 pounds or so. I can
probably load Dawg some of my allowance.
If I can make it, what airport do I fly into to join the team?

yeah, I've just been swamped. A flight to Ely in May sounds good, I'll have
to schedule that in. I guess we better get a hotel reservation going since I
won't have the RV! :) Since we'll be flying, I'll have to but a weapons
weight limit of 300 pounds per person (not including baggage, of course), so
Dawg will have to cut back for this trip. I'll probably wing-mount the 50.
JB - took the Pantera out to play with it on Sunday and noticed a coolant
leak. its always something with that b(&#ch

The new year brought a hike in taxes that took away some of my play money
for the Pantera. It's kind of put a dent in some things. However, if we
even have -one- Pantera that commits to NORC, I'll see if I can fly in for
support. Best option is for me to catch a cheap flight to CA and fly in
with Mad Dog and JB. We need to keep the spirit going.

Well keep the home fires burning out there Rowdy...I am gonna try and make
it to Colorado for PPHC in June just to spectate and bench race.
How is the weather in Kansas? We had 78f yesterday in Huntington Beach and
80 in LA! I wore speedo to beach today....got lots of thumbs up.
Well we kid Frank about his Pantera but he's done a hellva nice job on
restoring it...you say it runs which is more then mine does this
month....but he's way over due to spank it...hope he runs it this year.
On BBORR I'm not surprised now on wait list...what with Mike Borders
shutting down his 3 MKM ORR's it wont get any easier to get into SORC or
BORR...I am amazed at the folks who just keep going and going to ALL of the
remaining 4 Orr's....Charlie Friend just finished or is about to finish his
100th ORR....of course he didnt do it in a Pantera so we cant give him any
credit ;-)

Yea, you got that right dawg. Frankie talked to the race people in Texas
this week & they must have a max of 160 grid slots & already have 170
entries so he'll just get added to the present waiting list. Getting as bad
as SORC!! He & Budly still plan on runnning SORC if they're accepted (as are
Mark & Jim). Luckily, I got in on the first round this year so don't have to
sweat being there like I have for the last several years. SO, no sweat on
SORC 'cause I'll be there for sure & Mark is planning to run his Pantera in
Texas so those two ORR's should have P-cars in them........... !! :o))
You'se guys on the west bank need to make good @ NORC & SS .............
we're only covering the Central Division! HaHaHa! BTW, Frankie found a NOS
sexy front spoiler like I have for his car & is happier than a little piggy
pee'in. Now that shows that the boy has got REALLY GOOD TASTE (if he EVER
gets it installed..........)!!!!

I am pretty sure I am gonna be on a project which I can plan ahead to get
time off on unless it is out of the country and I started stripping the
Pantera down for paint as well so don't see being ready for the NORC in may

I most likely won't make NORC. I'll have to concentrate funding on SSCC if
I want to make a race this year, which I do. I think Mad Dog is planning on
NORC if he can, that is if he's home and not in the land of OZ.

Jim and I are planning to do the NORC this year. If we can get into SORC
so much the better. I would like to run in a higher speed class 145- 150.
Just need to get the waiver. Hopefully there will be some of you out there
to run with.
