I did a little research.....they are heavier since side walls are meant to carry a deflated tire at SLOW speeds off the freeway....mix bag reviews by non racers....waiting for Eric';s feedback....other Y rated Michelin that works on my wheels is the
Sport Pilot....between that and the Conti tire (also Y rated) they will both work. I am reluctant to start a donnybrook on the Message Board....May check with John who was tire tech at SORC and compare his impression and any unofficial data with Eric....
