[TPR] Charlie& Corvair-from-hell go off road

Amazingly Charlies driving skills (and some good luck) kept the Corvair from rolling....what I was paying attention to was he was only turning 5600 R's at 186 MPH!!! And as he entered the off camber turn at mile 70 just prior to the canyon/narrows he was at 116 mph....that is slow....okay kidding again....just happy Charlie is okay and Tom out in Nebraska is safe as well.

And remember kids....Do not try this at home...these guys (and Mad Dawg) are professionals. ;-)

Here is Charlie's acccident at NORC in May.....You'll see in video Charlie coming out of SS Canyon Narrows, up the hill and down into a long straight where his tire blows at 185 Mph. Interesting watching his MAPS display....which is what slowed  Rowdy earlier.....you gots to stay off those maps and other electronic crutches....that was the REAL reason Charlie and Tom crashed and why Rowdy was so slow. ;-))))

Fighter pilot and race car driver Charlie Friend suffers a tire failure at the Nevada Open Road Challenge when traveling 186 mph. The car does a quick 360 and crashes into the desert. Charlie was okay, the car not so much. Many thanks to Charlie for letting us share this video.
