Dear Dennis,
Ummm. No. Mid America Pantera Squadron=MAPS. We weren’t timed on the road to Phoenix , but we did make *good* time on the road (except for Bob’s unhappy carb).
Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

Dear Bud,
Hmmm. It sounds a lot like the problem Bob had on the Road to Phoenix 2012 with MAPS. He and I were the last I noticed that he was getting slower and slower as we were hitting the twisties. I knew something was wrong. It persisted for several minutes and then Bob was back up to speed. I asked him about it later and he said that it was his carb and it would do that from time to time……. I told him that was a bad deal because it cost him some real speed through the fun stuff. Oddly enough, it didn’t occur again. Maybe it is finally bad enough that it can be diagnosed and fixed.

Rowdy's car went on a trailer about 20 miles north of Phillipsburg, Ks. The Godfather's Tahoe has it in tow. They gave up trying to limp it on home.
Bud ( Drive it like there was no tomorrow, for there may not be )
