Hey Bro's,

Photos!!

GREAT days at Dicks Shop with Dick and Russ....

Wanna thank the guys for all their hard work today.  Changing out the plugs in and around those 180 headers is a PIA!! Keep that in mind Mark if you add your 180's before September.....Suggestion:  Add plugs and headers to engine and if possible then drop them into engine bay.

Russ did the leak down test, and valve train inspection checking spring pressures and Dick went over chassis, suspension and cooling, fuel system, all as discussed with them last week.  I feel a lot better knowing everything checked out okay....

I have one cyl (#1) that was down a bit at 16 on leakdown test.....all the plugs looked good except for #1 which had a little oil on threads......not bad after FOUR years and allot of hard miles!!!

I have also been running around on street and we never checked plugs after SS last September which was one more reason why I wanted Russ to do leak down today and he had already suggested he check springs BEFORE I ran another ORR.

I should be good enough for SS next month.....we did a team effort on changing the spark plugs (okay I gapped the plugs so shut up JB)....I had one broken or loose plug boot which Dick fixed immediately....and Dick and Russ trouble shot and fixed a fuel delivery problem....all fixed.....otherwise after everything was put back together she fired right up again and I drove home

Photo #1 - is Russ working in Dick's carb which he pulled out of his Dicks Longchamp and fixed.

Photo #2 - Is Russ checking spring pressures

Photo #3 - Is Dawg & DICK with rabbit ears behind me....some evidence that the Dawg is blind now if you look closely

Photo #4 - My new driver and I.... more evidence I am blind....new driver doesn't care - Neither do I.

GOOD TIMES

Well, if you had run the insane speeds you normally do, I'd say change
the oil.  But since you decided to drive the Pantera like grandma's
grocery getter last year, maybe you don't need to.
:)

In all honestly, just look at the oil on the dipstick.  If it's getting
brown or black, change it.  If you can clearly make out text on the
dipstick through the oil, you're probably fine.

Then again, and oil change is cheap.
