[TPR] Alignment specs

After having the front end aligned and reviewing the printout from the
fancy new machines they use, I'm not entirely certain it's been done
correctly.

Do any of you have a printout from the last time you had your Pantera
aligned? I'd prefer a printout from MD or JB as I know they've been set
up for Open Road Racing.

For the most part I've requested as much Caster as I have available,
which is about 2.7*. I've specified +/- 1/8* (one-eighth degree) for
Camber and 1/8" for toe.

What's bizarre is that I had it set up on an "old" machine a few years
back and the guy physically wrote down the final readings for me and it
was within my specs. The next time I took it in to a different shop
(without any changes like tires or shocks), and they had one of the new
fancy laser computer alignment racks. I got a printout that tells me it
had -0.8* Camber and 0.43* of toe. WTF?

0.8 is not one-eighth, it's eight-tenths; huge difference. And what's
with the 0.43 degrees of toe? How the hell does -that- translate to an
eight-inch of toe?

So I'm all confused at this point and no longer have confidence my
alignment was really done correctly this last time. If someone could
send me their printout of settings they -know- are the best on a Pantera
for ORR, I'll just take a copy of that in and say "make it look like
this," and then I'll have the confidence I should have.

As it is, I can at least state that it's aligned at the moment
essentially the same as it was at last years race based on the alignment
report prior to that race and what I got yesterday. But is it right?

Send 'em if you got 'em.
Thanks,
Asa
