My Windows computer is acting up after those "critical" updates we had
a few days ago, so I'm trying to uninstall all the crap in the hopes
it makes the computer work again. I tried the system restore but it
keeps failing clear back two weeks. I may be screwed. So I'm using
my webmail app via my Linux box. This thing has been up and running,
without a reboot for 441 days. Beats the living crap out of Windows. :)

On a good note however, The engine in the Mach I is ready to come out.
I have two bolts left on the hood and one from the trans bellhousing
to the block.

Tomorrow I'll head over to my Dad's to pick up the engine hoist, and
maybe him too so he can help lift the hood off. Then the engine comes
out and gets put on the stand. We'll put the hood back on and push
the old girl out of the garage.

On a -sadder- note, while I was under her today (just dwell on that
for a few seconds)...

Okay, so while I was under her, I noticed some really nasty rust and
breaks on the front suspension unibody part of the frame. Damn, was
all I could think of. This car is certainly not SSCC worthy at this
time (now we're talking abou the Mach I, not the Pantera). She'll
need a lot of bodywork before she's whole again. It's that kind of
thing that makes me want to sell her to someone who'll give her
immediate attention. But then I look at those sexy lines again and I
can't bring myself to do it.

Anyway.... Once the engine is on the stand, I'll see about cleaning up
the outside, adding some new paint, changing the pan to the mondo
Armando pan and the intake to the Ford Power Parts FPP4145. I'll
adjust the rockers while I'm in there too.

More updates and photos as they happen. :)
