I am just a hick from the Northwest but when I show up in the purple people pleaser in my RED race suit I just kinna expect that you guys have taken care of everything and all I need to do is get in the car and drive.....SORRY for trusting you.
I realize now I can't trust anyone except my amazing intuitive powers.......I am GOOD TO GO for Silver State.
PS Not yet as the wheels are dirty. And I need to check the picture of my granddaughter on the face of my tach.

great news. I've learned over the years to never comment right away on anything Dawg reports as a problem. It could be anything from a broken piston to a rattling door speaker. :)
Glad to hear you are back on the road! I know you NEVER do any street racing.
JB

Amen!
Yea, I actually liked my earlier insane description of the bent rocker push rod! HAHA....
Still want my ir-efi tuner to check rpm limit setting but pretty sure it was my club foot that was the problem ;-)
Waiting for lecture from JB for street racing but I swear there was no racing.....I just made sure when I SAFELY passed the Nova that he knew he was getting passed by a pantera that was just as stock as his Nova!!. ;-)

thehole on the heads where they come thru and on the back of the rockers. What size push rods does it have, if it has 3/8 then it's highly likely they're rubbing and will need clearancing. I'd be willing to bet it was on an intake valve.

first experience bending perfectly good parts.........just been lucky with Russ that nothing has broke in 6 years but better to break it here then 7 miles into Silver State...perhaps an opportunity to have Russ build a race engine that makes 700+ Hp...yea everything happens for a.reason...yea right HAHAHA
