Good question. the problem with a hyd roller is I haven't had the valve covers off for 2 years (yea my bad) even when we put on Tommy Hodges new 180 headers. Hard to say when it came lose but i should have had Dick or Art check before and after the last orr.

This seems like good news.
Why did it come loose?  How to prevent?

>Check the push rods for signs of rubbing in thehole on the  heads where they come thru and on the back of the rockers.  What size push rods does it have, if it has 3/8 then it's highly likely they're rubbing and will need clearancing.  I'd be willing to bet it was on an intake valve.

  700+ Hp...yea everything happens for a.reason...yea right
