Locking rocker came lose....NOT a broken rocker or bent connecting rods.
Was tired when I wrote the emai last night

Check the push rods for signs of rubbing in thehole on the heads where they come thru and on the back of the rockers. What size push rods does it have, if it has 3/8 then it's highly likely they're rubbing and will need clearancing. I'd be willing to bet it was on an intake valve.

Not sure I copied all earlier on fix...looks like the Hawk was correct on broken rocker connectimg rods, valves., dizzy gear etc. all look golden....will have Efi tuner check computer and electronics next week but I may have dodged the bullet here...thanks to Hawk and all of you who responded.

I have to admit this is not my first experience bending perfectly good parts.........just been lucky with Russ that nothing has broke in 6 years but better to break it here then 7 miles into Silver State...perhaps an opportunity to have Russ build a race engine that makes 700+ Hp...yea everything happens for a.reason...yea right HAHAHA
