Summit is processing my refund on the second Fluidyne radiator. Nice
folks. They first offered to open up the next one and make sure it was
packed well. I declined, that's what they were supposed to do the last
time. I should have told them I'd bet every single one they had in the
warehouse was already bent up.
Summit will also have it picked up. Nice folks. This is where I
learned something new. I asked, just for fun, what they would do with
it, because I'd already contacted Fluidyne about the packaging problem.
I thought Summit would examine it, maybe send a report to Fluidyne...
Summit never sees the product again.
Huh?
They are treating this like a case of shippers damage, they will file a
claim with UPS. UPS in turn will pick up the "damaged" product and toss
it in a pile of other car parts. When a pallet gets full of car parts,
UPS sends it off to auction. I explained it was a packaging problem,
but it didn't matter to Summit. That's their efficient process I guess.
Nice I took photos for Fluidyne to examine anyway.
Things you don't know and probably don't care about anyway, so here's a
photo of Mad Dawg in the morning:
